Up to then, they are providing us with stable builds all throughout that have endless hours of entertainment potential already available. Odds are Starsector will be completed and in a fully released state at some point. Sometimes they even develop mod features directly to the game because they're exceedingly popular. They made great steps to improve the moddability of the game by request of the community. Set in the year 3126, the player commands a fleet of spaceships and engages in combat, trade, and exploration in a procedurally generated world. There is also a huuuuge amount of mods for the game that add a great deal of content. Starsector (formerly Starfarer) is a top-down single-player indie role-playing game developed and published by Fractal Softworks for computers in 2011. Modded Starsector and Unmodded Starsector are completely different games, SS has a decent modding community. It is a team of like 5 guys doin' the work, and they could care less if people pirate their game to play or to try because they know the people who were gonna buy it would anyways. The updates it does get are usually fairly sizeable despite being quite far between.
